Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong met with U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel in Beijing on Friday, with both sides agreeing to deepen exchanges and cooperation in law enforcement.
Wang called on both sides to implement important common understandings reached by the two heads of state and to have more constructive dialogue on the basis of mutual respect. The Chinese minister emphasized the importance of practical cooperation in areas such as drug control, combating telecom and online fraud and child pornography, anti-money laundering, and fugitive pursuit.
